- Spreading: The southeast Ivory Coast eastward to west Kenya and southward to north Angola, the south Congo and northwest Tanzania, islands Fernando Poo and Principé, possibly also an isolated population in the area of the Kilemanjaro, Tanzania
- Habitat: Low land forests, Savana with tree existence
- Way of life: during the day in pairs or in small groups, collect themselves against evening on high palms, there accumulation of occasionally several hundred birds
- Nutrition: seed, nuts, nektar, berries, fruits (particularly of palm Elaeis guinensis )
